It goes without saying that this year has been challenging, frustrating, and discouraging at times. The amount of sweat, tears, and overtime our team has put in during the ever-changing regulations and expectations has been nothing short of amazing. Though we’ve often felt like we’ve been making decisions in the dark, not knowing exactly what to do or not do, we’ve tried to consistently make decisions that will protect our staff, protect our guests, and provide a memorable, delicious, and exciting experience. In the midst of this uncertain, emotional, and exhausting year, the amount of verbally or physically aggressive guests, anonymous or threatening messages, hateful one-star reviews, and personal attacks on our team have taken a toll on us. It’s been a hard year already and unfortunately, all of this has made it even harder.

HOWEVER... it’s hilariously awesome and special reviews like this (and all of the other kind, consistent, caring, encouraging, appreciative, understanding, supportive, and loving guests we get to serve and spend time with) that keep us going. We truly appreciate all of the extra efforts so many people have made to let us know they’re on our side, they’re rooting us on, and they love BACON; it’s what keeps us showing up morning after morning.
